New Beginnings for Network

In March 2008 the Wallsend Recovery Coordinator position was filled by Kathie Heyman who is also the Wallsend Town Coordinator. Some of the aims of the Wallsend Emergency Network will be to create a business and community communication strategy, development of a Wallsend specific Emergency Network Information Booklet, Wallsend Emergency Network website and the erection of two community notice boards. All to be promoted along with emergency services organisation at the Wallsend Winter Carnivale on the 10th August. A Wallsend Emergency booklet and two Community Information Boards are soon to be released, erected and operational.
